1. Should my teenager take the ACT or SAT?                                                                 Have your teenager take the ACT, unless the college admission office requests an SAT score then help them prepare and register for the SAT. One location the SAT is given in the corridor is on the Coe college campus. The SAT is a more difficult test than the ACT. The reasoning section on the SAT is similar to the Law school entrance (LSAT) exam and most students will find this challenging.

2. When is a good time to begin studying for the ACT?                                             Six to eight weeks before for the test is an ideal length of time to begin studying for the ACT. For most students, 6 weeks is as long as they will devote to a study plan and they can improve their score significantly in this time period.
