FinnPREP tutors work with kids and teens to improve their grades in many different academic subject areas. Our student tutoring services also prepare them to take rigorous Advanced Placement exams, which are necessary to earn college credits and skip introductory courses at the college level

Prepare
When FinnPREP student tutors begin working with your teen, they start by listening. What’s holding your teen back? What’s going on in the classroom or during the test? This helps tutors prepare a customized tutoring or AP prep plan, including identifying poor study habits, test-taking mental blocks, insecurity, or lack of subject comprehension. This plan is shared with teens and parents, so everyone knows what to expect.
Practice
When working to boost performance in a subject area or to prepare for an AP exam, it’s crucial to review learning materials often. Our student tutoring services help teens understand the importance of frequent review and test them often to ensure they are absorbing the information necessary to boost grades and test scores. FinnPREP tutors are academic coaches: they are excellent at motivating teens and supporting them in their journey to success.
